Palliser, British Columbia : ウィキペディア英語版 | Palliser, British Columbia Palliser is an abandoned townsite beside the Kicking Horse River between Field and Golden in British Columbia. There is nothing really there now (but it is still marked on some maps,〔Kootenay Rockies BC Backroad Mapbook〕〔Golden 82N7 topographical map〕 and may be of some historic significance). The town was named after John Palliser, who led the 1863 Palliser Expedition. The 1911 Census of Canada〔(1911 Census of Canada Indexing Project )〕 lists 8 people living in Palliser. ==References== 〔
